Fully sequenced in 2012. Again this year, paying $7,902 for matched 30x long read + 100x short read.

"Science" seems to be both of these at once and more -- the tasks we perform, the results we find, the applications we can imagine, and the power we project by doing all of the above
It's been a few years now since it became clear that the future will not include humans drafting legal documents
But somehow the legal profession never had a "gut punch" moment like the one mathematics is experiencing. The difference is interesting
Both professions draft documents that must be, in a sense, formally correct
But mathematicians see almost all of their work as encoded in the document. If you write a formally correct proof, you have done the core job of a mathematician
Lawyers understand that most of their work is outside the document. Their relationships to clients and judges. Their sensitivity to the subtle politics of human institutions. So you can be a good lawyer and never write a word of legal language yourself
AI reveals how much of a particular job is about expertise and how much is about the people skills that wrap around and guide expertise
Today we're introducing Onyx, a research collective building a virtual immune system: a model of how real people respond to infection, inflammation, and treatment.
We're launching with an $8M seed round led by Dimension Capital.

@DVirilis It brought it up! I had a really long list of categories and a long context document and it correctly identified that it was probably a keyword issue from some of the context and if i split out the categories that were causing trouble it could complete the rest
