Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.

Firefly Mission Log: Lunar Detour

Built to image our planet, Firefly isn't generally meant to look outward. But testing a satellite’s limits is how we learn what more it can do.

This image of the Moon is the result of significant effort across teams, from fine-tuning parameters and correcting misalignments to enhancing the satellite’s agility and stability.

Experiments like these help us better understand our satellites, improve how we operate them, and extract more from the systems we’ve built.
