Jared Kushner visited Israel on August 17. In the two days that followed, yesterday and today, Israel slaughtered more than 18 Palestinians in Gaza.

These have been among the bloodiest days in weeks. An Israeli strike on a café in Gaza City alone killed at least six Palestinians on August 18. A strike an hour ago killed ten people.

One cannot help but wonder: was a green light given during Kushner’s visit?

The world must confront the reality that the people at the helm of the US government, like their partners in the Israeli regime, are sociopaths on a global crime spree. Marco Rubio’s mafia-like threats and abuses of power must be confronted with international solidarity. US war against the ICC has new victims: ICC President Tomoko Akane of Japan and ICC Senior Trial Lawyer Abdoulaye Seye of Senegal for engaging are the latest to be sanctioned as part of the US effort to destroy the ICC.

@amnesty warns last year that international justice and accountability were just another battleground for the the global predators, beginning with the US, but also Israel and Russia.

And there are far too many cowards among those who should stand up for the ICC and should champion the rule
of law and accountability, no matter the nationality and identity of the perpetrators of international crimes.

@amnesty stands with all those at the ICC sanctioned by the US and call on the Assembly of State Parties to act vigorously and strongly to protect the Court and international justice.

Arsenal: Signed a millions-worth deal with an Israeli company that supports reservists who committed war crimes in Gaza, Lebanon, & Iran.

Chelsea: One of its directors has denied Israel's targeting of children and the club has a long history of funding Israeli settlements. It's also sponsored by IFS, which has indirect ties to Elbeit System factories.

Crystal Palace: Signed an Israeli player who represented the national team whose FA funds settlement clubs and racism against Palestinian players and fans. Also sponsored by companies investing in genocide.

West Ham United: Signed an ex-Israeli soldier who defended the genocide in Gaza.

Spurs: Hosted an Israeli prisoner who mocked the suffering of Palestinians during the genocide. Has corporate sponsors or commercial partners with business activities tied to Israeli settlements or military action.

Fulham: Previously signed Solomon and retains links to companies that finance genocide and war crimes.
