They shall be Remembered,They fought diligently not minding they didn't have enough weapons to fight the British/Nigeria.
Even the barricade from the zoo/british government didn't stop them from producing weapons for theirselves 🥺

RESPONSE TO GOWON
If we all believe in the adage that a fool at 40 is a fool forever, then there's nobody who typifies that reality than 91yrs old Yakubu Gowon.
At 91 probably senile, and needs assistance to remember what day it is, use the restroom and tie his shoes, the only thing that is still constant in his life is his lies against Ikemba Ojukwu and the circumstances that led to the Biafra War.
Historians from all works of life have written countless books about Biafra identifying the fact that it was Gowon's refusal to implement The Aburi Accord that directly led to the 3 years genocide against Ndị Igbo and other tribes of the then Eastern Region. If Gowon had stuck to what was agreed in Aburi, Ghana, then the loss of life that followed would not have happened.
Perhaps tormented by the souls of the children he starved to death in Biafra he's now resorted to distortion and lies as a means to cure his nightmare.
Everybody knows that it was the North who started the War when they embarked on "OPERATION ARABA - SEPARATION" to exit the country, but then decided that Before they do that, they'd kill all Igbos first. However the British, the original landlords said No, that if they go they'd be poor because those Igbos will go with the oil. That's how the north became the Pioneer supporters of #OneNigeria till today.
Aburi was scheduled to negotiate peace, Everybody agreed on Restructuring and independent Regions. Gowon again on the advice of the British reneged on that agreement and threw the country into war. Killing millions of people in the process.
The problem with Nigeria is that Elders like Gowon does not possess the moral clarity and courage to tell a truth and stand by that truth no matter whose Ox is gored. They hold onto Lies as if it was an act of faith. Then when they have driven the country to a point of acute paralysis & irretrievable doom, they start perpetuating stupid stereotypes to incite hate against Ndị Igbo in other to distract Nigerians.
That is Why the country is fast retrogressing back into the stone age while the whole world, even African countries we used to mock continue to advance.
What did the Stupid British Stooge Gowon did when he was a military leader? He gave out Nigerian crude oil to the British on the cheap. Also from the windfall Nigeria made from the Gulf crisis of 1973, he proclaimed that Nigeria's problem wasn't money but how to spend it. That's how he went on to host FESTAC where he invited the whole Africa to feast in Nigeria, rampaging and destroying the country's wealth till he was overthrown by Another Nigerian famous criminal Murtala Mohammad.
Engaging in Blood libel against Ndị Igbo is a favourite past time of Nigerian elders and leaders. Despite the fact that no Igbo man have ruled this country.
They will Put themselves in strategic positions to pillage Nigeria's wealth, after looting they start piling on Igbo people, their favourite scapegoats.
One day it will end. That day is coming soon than they realise it.
"I love MNK but his approach was disrespectful to our leaders"
All the fools who once had this opinion don see say Nigeria and it's people do not deserve decorum.
You people expected MNK to reason with Ottelectuals and dabble into nigerian politics?
So he can "change the system from inside"
Ndi mgbu.
System that was never wired to prosper??
