Watched #Jananayagan 3 times in the US with my 7yr old son. I never expected a scene to open up such a powerful conversation.

After the Good Touch Bad Touch scene, the questions started pouring in…

What if X uncle touches me here?
What if that Y friend does this?
What if this aunty touches there?

And then came the question that stayed with me…

“Amma, what if you touch me here, when you shower me?”

That’s when I realised the beauty of what was created. A topic many parents struggle to explain, a conversation children often find uncomfortable, was made so simple, so relatable, and so natural.

When a person of Thalapathy Vijay’s stature delivers a message like this, it doesn’t stop with just his fans, it reaches homes, hearts, and children.

@AndhraBoxOffice Yes, it was futile. CBFC won & the movie will suffer with who knows how much butchering? Thankfully I'm overseas, so the version we watch will most likely not carry these cuts. And if this happens to a movie with a top star like Vijay, what about small movies?
