It’s a good question technically, Cloudflare Radar measures HTTP HTTPS traffic so API calls would be included but most public websites don’t expose inbound REST endpoints so that portion is relatively small in the grand scheme of things

The bulk of this “non-human” traffic is almost certainly LLM driven crawlers training foundation models, retrieval agents fetching live content, and RAG pipelines scraping HTML etc it will only increase

There’s also a subtler demand side shift have you noticed when you search on Google today the AI summary answers your question directly from content it already scraped and synthesized the underlying site still gets the bot visit but never the human click or traffic this structural change is as important as the raw numbers.

The bot to human ratio isn’t just rising because bots are doing more it’s rising because humans are doing less of the last mile themselves I think

The Rafa documentary on Netflix blows my mind @RafaelNadal was such a champion, winning 22 Grand Slams, and the world hardly knew about what he went through living with a degenerative foot disease called Muller Weiss syndrome

I can also vouch that he is the real deal a very genuine person and the best example of someone achieving the epitome of sporting greatness against all odds!!

I cannot tell you the number of times this has happened to me - always get a couple of opinions and always get the part numbers and a written description of the problem, a few mins with ChatGPT or Claude can save you a lot of money in even knowing what questions to ask

One HVAC guy tried to charge us $800 for replacement of calcium strips they turned out to be $30 on Amazon!

If you find an honest HVAC tech hang onto them! There are still good honest people around..

It’s definitely a phenomena that several factors have contributed to and needs to be addressed another worrying stat is the increase in unemployment in the US amongst young graduates with 4 year degrees…. And we are not even talking about the “underemployment” of graduates and last but not least the graduate debt they are ending with
