@AnnieTodd96 How disgusting. And not even the teachers thought about just calmly dividing the money between them and giving everyone else the well-deserved middle finger. Everyone in this is corrupted or broken.
The story here, for those who may have forgotten 2015 (it was a long time ago!) is that the NSA inserted a backdoor into a major encryption standard and then leaned on manufacturers to install it. Thread. 1/
Getting some satisfaction out of typing `git push origin -fu ...` a lot while fighting with gitlab pipeline here. Take that, origin. You're welcome, inner child.
@Heimeshoff I often wonder these days, why do people become unreal only because they're in video call? Never had the feeling of "we never met", since we did, albeit not in person. Is this about drinking? ;-)
@DrMarkCLewis @theSemioptimist Interesting level of arrogance in there. Don't like python much myself, but grading a non-class oriented language by OO (guess he's thinking of Java) principles is bound to make it look bad. There are other paradigms around. Python is not made for classes, imo. But yeah.
CRUD applications (i.e., providing a browser view of what are essentially database tables) don't need Object-Oriented Programming, nor Domain-Driven Design, nor perhaps even Test-Driven Development.
In fact, large portions of that could be code-generated, or not need any code.
@raymcdermott If you find more, let me know. Somehow, I can't find old-school hardcore these days. Or not a lot that makes me happy, at least. E.g. the whole Boston phase seems... gone?
@raymcdermott Hardcore, mostly, the occasional band in other related genres (Grind, Crust). Postrock, sometimes. Chokehold would be my go-to example, but that's ye olden days.
@hulu_support Uhm, a little help here. I cannot log in, it keeps saying my account is blocked. The help page is behind the login, you don't answer mails, no phone... What'd be your idea of solving this?
Are C# docs really written using actual XML tags? Opening _and_ closing? How on earth...? Is there some original sin C# developers are still paying for?
Besides being funny, it's striking how this approach to software makes the best out of a weird situation instead of just crashing or giving up. And since those events will happen, that points to a future for it.
Da gab es doch letztens einen Test zur Medienkompetenz, der vor Quellen warnte, die durch eine Wertung in der Überschrift auffallen? Oder ist das nur das gute alte Framing?
