The “greatest democracy” is actually a fallacy - judges voted in by one party, popular vote still can loose, no power sharing options - could go on. But today, right now it is what it is. @TanisFowler @ShreeParadkar sad that when in mental health crisis it is the police we have to call. not paramedics or crisis team... given that these crises will be mostly BIPoC, armed cops storming in to “help” likely aggravates. also why i think embedded mobile crisis workers shouldn’t dress like cops..

@lizrenzetti You would need to compare apples with apples. gernany is ahead of canada on the curve, testing more widely, has more capacity in hospitals and has a decentralised/regional response capability. up until recently tests can take 10 days to come back in some cases here in canada

@ONThealth @healthcityon bus drivers, teachers, etc continue to work (some from home) & have all been paid. Ontario chooses NOT to pay drs for the last 2 months for work done, but lets give you a loan instead . Bet the ministers are getting full pay for working from home though?#Dotherightthing
