@ClareONeilMP The Labor way - brick the market for 99% of people, then tax them egregiously and use thier money to assist a tiny section of the population and declare that you've solved the issue
@sussanley Ironic since the Liberal party is afraid to take a real stance on anything until weeks after the fact when they are certain what direction the wind blows
@Slim_Picking5 @disclosetv Not to mention that there is 40 billion spent on indigenous people this year (av. 40kpp), yeilding little to no results with no accointability. The Voice obfuscates the actual problems(in my opinion) and arguably will not fix anything or make it worse
@Slim_Picking5 @disclosetv Because it creates a racial divide in the constitution for perpetuity.
Its a advisory body that advises on anything related to Indigenous people which could literaly be anything. There is potential for it to be a 3rd chamber of gov bogging down bureaucracy
@JaromirTesar It would also add a barrier to entry with voting, you have to set up a DID. HUGE barrier to entry.
I see plenty of ppl upset about proposals they like not getting funded but it was a very competative round and as far as i know everything that got through was quality. No turbos!
@jazzwhistle@dorminik2 The timing of it, ie right when radix appeared out of nowhere and every 2nd cardano influencer is suddenly writing on it all within a short time frame. To me it felt like they were all shills. Like it was orchestrated
