This is a tribute to my old cat Slinky, who was my closest companion for ~16 years of my life, until he died suddenly and unexpectedly a few years ago. This is the closest thing to closure I could get, and I hope that it's a fitting tribute.

After almost 4 years of work I finally submitted my PhD thesis yesterday π₯³ Thank you to everyone in the Astro Group at @LancasterUni (@LUniverse__) for their part in this journey. I will miss being a part of this group immensely β€οΈπΉ
It's the end of @NAM2023_Cardiff and the end of my final ever Astro conference! So much fascinating science and lots of interesting people ππ great to see so many @LancUniPhysics@LUniverse__ people with talks and posters and running sessions @Iz_garland!πΉπΉπΉ
Had an incredible time at #NAM2023 (even despite managing to injure myself on day 1)! It was an absolute pleasure to present my work, and to witness some of the incredible science that has been going on in the world of astronomy. π
