P.S. I also study copywriting
@CardinalMason I agree. Also I feel more more creative, and refreshed when I get some socialisation regularly in hte week. I've felt this directly impact my work positively.
Thomas, what if we tested treating entreprenurship kind of like an art? Like you follow the fundamentals in each part in business, but look at YOUR strengths, use them & express the fundamentals in YOUR way. Just like is possible in boxing, drawing, jiu jitsu, muay thai etc.
Been writing advertising copy, long hand, and dude, feel waaaayyy clearer about my offer. The internal blocks or uncertainties I had, and coming up with solutions etc. etc. This directly connects to my cold calling & my sales calls. How? By the logic of sales being about transferring certainty. Still got more to do, then I'm gonna organise thoughts. Shout out to Gary Halbert, Joseph Sugarman, @StefanGeorgi , in this specific session thoughts...notes from their insights helped.
Cold Calling - Day 10 of 100 - 28 Aug Fri 2026 - 30 Dials, 10 Pick Ups, 3 Owners, 0 New Appts, 0 Sales Calls.
notes - I was experimentging with vibing when dialing as yesterday I was wasting time going over tweaking script and got in my head...Duuuuurrr.
Also, I realised I have this kind of concern of "burning the leads", so I made myself dial other niches too...Annnd dumb down my opener focusing more on vibe. Why? To show it's about dialing and not being needy, and that's not some herculean thing.
Til next time folks.
Thomas!
@TheJeremyHaynes I'm making myself experience living WHILE getting the money thing sorted. Yeah I'm capped at having certain experiences that money can get me but I'm testing out living a life where I create moments and cool experiences with zero or low cash on my way to the promised land. 🥴
Me to me "What's that, Thomas? You don't want to do that follow up call?"
After (ironically) procrastinating, "by first doing some more cold calls"...I stopped cold dialing and did this warm dial.
And I did it...
I was still corporeal.
Dude was like, "yeah, we're still on for our 4pm meeting later right? I was with my employee".
Yes good sir, we're still on for 4pm later on.
Mad this is the exact thing I was spending a ton of time on. I was doing the steps I'm the $100m offers. But now it's like I need to focus on a new minimal viable offer. Even on the sales call o was on today it was based on speaking about one new mecha ism in what I already offer.
As someone wont to rumination and over complicating things, and who likes to learn tons of things...I'm gonna dumb things down.
Was on a sales call last night that I got from cold calling a different niche, before having my new site or custom email ready. Not even clear offer....was uncomfortable, didn't even have a great Google slides, but dude understood the value I can bring by what I told him and showing I know what I'm talking about.
BIG step out my perfectionist comfort zone. I fumbled the close though. We'll see in next meeting.
Cold Calling Challenge - Day 7 of 100. 1hr 25 dials. Appointments booked. Today was one of those days where I didn't feel like doing it. But yeah, put the timer on. Did the actions. Generated the appointments. Also, I made sure I qualified them a bit more before putting them in the calendar. One tomorrow. Another tomorrow.
it's day 5 of my 100 day cold calling challenge and I did 108 dials, got 5 meetings booked. Nice.
Yup, this is my first time doing over 100 dials in a session. Shout out to me. Sgoooo
@jackmoses777 Noted. Bro, I'm gonna test starting with writing in the morning instead of waiting to do it at night upon reflection. I'm curious to see the effects of it on X. I noticed it's easy to want some perfect thing later on the day than if I do it earlier.
Day 6 of my 100 day cold calling challenge.
I didn't do as many dials as I wanted (only 25 solid ones, 0 appointments booked,). Why? doing a bunch of follow up calls for appointments I booked today. Whatsapps, emails, looms etc.
later on I had 2 sales calls. We'll find out if I really closed if/when they pay the invoices I sent.
What matters though is I took the actions and applied what I learned. Let's go
@Gaus450 At the moment I'm focusing on cold calling mostly, followed by cold email. Currently actively improving my cold calling skills by dialing daily.
@maxwellcopy Yeah, I've recently changed my beliefs about networking in the real life where. Speaking to people is easy for me but I never ensured I actively added people to my network. Now that I'm writing more on X, I want to do the same. Good post man.
Day 4 of daily cold calling challenge.
30 dials, 6 decision makers, 1 appointment booked.
I procrastinated for like over an hour before getting started.
I've been training hard since Sunday so was feeling a bit tired from that.
Then I reminded myself about resistance.
And dial I did.
