@Exogynous@ryzerth I bet you believe all the AI companies also when they tell you that they aren't involved in circular financing deals aswell, I have a bridge to sell you.
@BluCheezFart@Pirat_Nation Like he said he has the money and time to do so, he wants to cost them more in lawyers than it would to replace the drive, given they didn't even want to adhere to the terms of the warranty contact that they created, it's their own fault for not sticking to their own terms.
@NastyCapitalist@Pirat_Nation Here's an idea then don't have the phrase current market value in your warranty claim, they would have no issue giving you less money if it was the case.
So why because it has no increased in price do you allow them to get out of the contract THEY created and you agreed to.
@Drum2dbeatz@Pirat_Nation Except for the fact the warranty on the drive states replacement or current market value of the drive so they shouldn't be offering him the purchase price in the first place.
@joshray@DanForTexas@Pirat_Nation That and the warranty on the drive he put a claim in for says replacement or current market value of the drive, it doesn't matter what the customer paid for the drive if it's 3x up or down, but they wouldn't care about adhering to it if it was down.
@classicstevet@Pirat_Nation Imagine being so stupid you are this confidently wrong whilst having zero knowledge of what it is you are even giving your opinion on.
@joelmuzz@Pirat_Nation Read the warranty they state, replacement or the current market price of the drive which is more than what he paid for the drive, so they would be out money replacing it for him, which under their own warranty, they only have themselves to blame.
@kurkosdr@Bob804673458487@Lasurak@Pirat_Nation Except their warranty states the current market price of the drive which isn't what he paid, the drive more than what he paid for the drive as the drive now costs more. So they didn't meet either of their obligations if they didn't offer current market price or exchange it.
@j_carreire@0_El_Flako_0@Lasurak@Pirat_Nation Apart from the fact they offered him what he paid when their own warranty agreement states market price which is now more than that, so no still wrong.
@Durpmen@antisemitictard@qazwsxedc165@Pirat_Nation The market price for that drive is now 3x the amount he paid for that drive due to all computer components increasing in price due to AI, so by their own words they either refund the drive or the market price for the drive.
@Durpmen@antisemitictard@qazwsxedc165@Pirat_Nation Why not look at the warranty for the product he put in a claim for, the warranty that Samsung provides for that SSD says they will replace it with the same drive or refund the market price of the drive, not what you paid the market price.
@Exogynous@ryzerth There's a reason SpaceX was going to the Nasdaq and S&P to get the rules changed so that they can be listed faster than other companies would be allowed to do so I wonder why that is, another instance of Elon thinking he and his companies are above everyone else.
@Exogynous@ryzerth No Google put money into SpaceX because they own a portion of SpaceX stock and they are set to go public and absurdly overpriced IPO, that headline generates more positive headlines and news around SpaceX's hopefully keeping the value inflated so they can then cash out.
@CaminaDrummer4@Exogynous@ryzerth Also the deal they signed with anthropic was for earth based data center compute but if Elon is training his own AI why would he not keep that extra hware for himself? But instead he lets a competitor in the space who is ahead of them have access to more compute makes sense.
@CaminaDrummer4@Exogynous@ryzerth Which they then turn around and sell for an inflated price upon going public, no that couldn't be the reason another company is doing circular financing right now along with all the other AI/Data center companies no it must be because of the profits!
@CaminaDrummer4@Exogynous@ryzerth SpaceX spunks billions monthly on AI development since xAI is now apart of SpaceX, he put X a money losing social media platform under SpaceX, the launching rockets goes through periods of profit and loss, the only profitable part of the company is Starlink end of.
