Our volunteers would like to thank everyone for using the garbage cans on the trails (even if it means I have to lug it around on a sled in the snow). The trails are beautiful and clean because of it. What a morning out there, the birds and squirrels are loving the sunshine.
Moose spotted this evening walking on the powerline cut. Pretty big one. Keep an eye out if you're walking in the area, especially if you're walking your dog.
If anyone lost their Yaycard tag on the way down the Edgar Baird trail recently, fire us a message and we'll work out a way to get it back to you. Found it at the bottom of the hill, near the spot with the log railings.
A grey day for #nlwx but a great day for a walk through the trails. They are still fairly icy / snowy but the weathering has made it a lot less slippery than a few weeks ago. Things aren't overly muddy either. Get out and enjoy!
