@drewlevin I'm usually the guy that bashes Riot for stuff, but man... credit where it's due, this is a level of transparency I'm absolutely not used to from a game company
Hats off, Drew! Make sure you do get enough sleep though!
@wrong83503@drewlevin I thought this was a ragebait as well, but let me get this straight. Let's assume you speed while driving and you get caught. Just because you got caught once, you think that you should never ever be punished for speeding again?
Would be one hell of a thing for sure
@Dexerto There is no need for a site-wide ban. There are plenty of trucking streamers who prove the opposite of this but don't get enough attention cause it's not clickbait enough.
Maybe if the minority causing the drama would be properly punished, these things would stop. Maybe...
@deteccphilippe Will this give back the option for players to open replays by dragging them onto LoL.exe or are on-demand players still stuck on stripping the certificates off the executable?
@SkinSpotlights Okay, I just realized that I unlocked an achievement: Top tweet on SkinSpotlights :D
With that privilege I shall:
@CestDommage did you know that discord linking is now live? If yes, did you really know?
@marclou Yeah cause what you did by putting the delete account button behind a paywall is better, might as well ask the user to pay for cancellation too

@drewlevin@DumLeaguePup Since it seems like the Riot Tech Blog is getting moved over to the https://t.co/vjF7lRgmrf system, can we get a blog post about this? 🥺
@kkettamin@geozukunft@drewlevin In case you missed it, it's been going on for 46 minutes and the post specifically said that the enemies are part of the hostage taking as well.
So no, they cannot play it out cause the enemies will def and they won't end on their own either. FF is being held hostage too
@WindowsCentral This is about as bare as a Windows 11 install gets (Enterprise edition with nothing other than VMWare tools installed)
I can only imagine something like Home that has all the adware and AI slop running also (not to mention windows update)
Open up a web browser and RIP SSD
@marclou@davecrypts Thanks for reminding people to never use your products. It's not about wishes, it's not about the market "deciding".
This is something called THE LAW. Europe, California REQUIRE you to do this.
But feel free to block all that juicy EU revenue from your apps and ignore these :)
@lassvestergaard @marclou You're from Denmark, just file a complaint at your local data protection agency.
They are not honoring your right to be forgotten and a legal letter is probably scarier than a few dozen twitter mentions which he could interpret as free advertising
@julianolol_ It was a nasty legal battle, that resulted in us winning. Remember, good stuff will always happen to you, just stay positive.

@julianolol_ [not with YearInLoL or any League project, but my own company]
We made the same mistake but with a distribution partner. We covered development, they would've sold the product. Instead we found out that they wanted a free software for their specific needs.
@drewlevin@JackJGaming I'd like to ask you if you can, please try and advocate for a WORKING and nice to use API product that is staffed properly, otherwise people will return to scraping again.
People are already scraping mayhem games this way and as service quality decreases, scraping will increase.
@drewlevin@JackJGaming I'm not sure if you were around back in 2013, but before the API was around, people used to just imitate league clients and scrape data using this way. The API was built because these scrapers were affecting service availability.
