@JhWesten Imperfection is not a progressive reality; it either is or isn't.
We are imperfect.
The ultimate manifestation of our imperfection, in this world, is death.
@mandalynns23 @BWCACatholic Paying for our "crimes"/"sins" (thoughts, words, actions, inactions) is multi-dimensional, including this world and the next. None of us and all of us pay for all of our crimes/sins in this world, but worldly authority tends to keep most of us in check, our conscience the others.
@HotShotAB@brysongray According to Jesus, belief is a work:
"Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the WORK of God, that ye BELIEVE on him whom he hath sent." (John 6:28-29)
Do you disagree?
@whyvert I know the meaning of "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious", but I never use it these days, especially loud enough, because it makes me sound precocious.

@jaxonshir Just remember that one way to strengthen faith, like muscles, is to exercise it. I know this because I once prayed for God to strengthen my faith and all these things started to happen that tested, exercised, my faith.
I never made that mistake again.๐
@PhilWhittlesee This had to do with the subject of abiogenesis. What I was saying is the "nature" did not create life, as in "life did not evolve", it was "created by God". I can see why you corrected what you thought I was saying. I'm adding a clarification.
@ArchbishopGomez The fact of the matter is that the Church requires confession for a reason. We are either perfect, or imperfect. The rich young man wanted to justify himself by his works. Jesus demands perfection. Who has achieved it? That said, it is good to do good things, without a doubt.
@Weeping7777777@ArchbishopGomez Perhaps He was speaking about laws that we make up you mean, such as, traditions that become laws, things that were intended to help us in our walk that are now used to condemn us?
@ArchbishopGomez Again, not that there is anything wrong with asking for, or accepting, intercession from anyone, is there a reason we can't ask for that in the Name of Jesus through the Holy Spirit, if not directly to Jesus or to The Father?
Seriously.
