So thankful for the @Avalanche and @SpecOlympicsCO putting on such a great community event. Ben had a blast and couldn’t stop talking about meeting Bernie ❤️

@mommadonnaa Reception was very casual and got to network. Convocation was like a traditional graduation. Commencement was pretty cool but long. If you only go to one I’d pick the convocation!
Deep learning brings a new set of challenges for data engineers. This interview helps shed light on what you need to know to support these technologies. https://t.co/LQjsHPCbBX
@uncontainer @thomasnield9727 No, but here is the script I used with that build file. Dataset comes from @NASA's NeoWs open data if you want to test it out. We aren't using it in production, this is just something I was doing to learn the APIs and test it out. https://t.co/6NctUpGZmm
@thomasnield9727 Have you had any issues with spark-sql 2.4 and kotlin? The code itself works in intellij but throws a class not found on spark-submit. Odd thing is my job that only uses RDD works fine with core but breaks with sql dependency.
@uncontainer @thomasnield9727 No problem, here is the build file I used. I'm planning on cleaning it up a bit and as long as I can share the data set I'm using I'll put my code and everything on GitHub https://t.co/YdiFKfhxx2
@uncontainer @thomasnield9727 The people in slack are great! The issue was caused by me creating the fat jar manually instead of with a gradle plugin. Installing and using shadowJar got the application to work with spark-submit. https://t.co/ocrkWEn30G
@uncontainer @thomasnield9727 No not yet! I finally got into the Kotlin slack though and posted the issue. I'll keep you posted if I end up figuring it out though.
@erroncollins5 Ha definitely the most Browns way to end a loss streak 😂 Fun fact teams with +5 turnovers are 132-4-1. The Browns are responsible for 2 losses and the only tie.
As one tale ends, so does another begins. Getting to experience studying at the #UofA has been amazing. Thank you to my support network and the #MIS instructors. I'm excited to apply what I've learned in the program to my new business intelligence position in Denver Colorado!
