@WZsWorld@MikeWaltz47 you can't base your national security around hoping that any adversary you potentially add to your non-classifed messaging app will leave out of courtesy.
@Astral_Defense@Rep_Stansbury I
1: Musk wants power. You are now seeing that he can spend his money to buy influence in government
2: Stock markets, insider trading, etc. Sadly no republicans are ever on board with stopping stock trading in congress. Democrats have already proposed it. https://t.co/rxySKH97rh
@HugoVale_@DOGE It sits right between center and center left, almost as center as it gets. It is also highly factual. (according to mediabiasfactcheck)
@Lars_Kruse_1973@Tim_Walz you know how americans view florida? That's how the rest of the world views america. Y'all would be a laughing stock, if not for your policies affecting the rest of the world too.
@Astral_Defense@Rep_Stansbury He litterally bought himself into effectively government, he is propping up a party that supports and is supported by all billionaires, and you accuse the other side of corruption? How is giving musk insane amounts of power in exchange for money not corruption?
@messiematt@Mark_Pear@DefiantLs I think everyone who is on social media is stuck in echo chambers. It's disingenuous to suggest echo chambers affect only people of certain political leanings. Reddit is majority left leaning, twitter as you can see is more home to right wing thought, etc etc
@SLCPaladin@Mark_Pear@RayChipman@DefiantLs very succinctly put. I think we can all agree that under musk's leadership a lot of cool stuff happened. He didn't build reusable rockets but they wouldn't exist now without him. That doesn't mean that he is competent or even well intentioned in governance.
