Thankful to BW for the chance to be one of the first in the NHS to use the new Optrell multipolar mapping catheter. Worked like a dream and provided truly excellent signals. The beat to beat conduction vectors really helped localise this AP #epeeps@EssexCTC@jjmt_ep

Today a team at Royal Brompton were the first in the UK to use a new @jnjmedtechuki device, as part of a trial, to treat atrial fibrillation.
The device uses pulsed field ablation, guided by a 3D mapping system, to selectively scar heart tissue which causes irregular heartbeats.
CARTO V8 LAT Vectors with directionality and superimposed fractionation algorithm may add value to DZ mapping! Looking forward to deep dive better understanding substrate in atrial and ventricular cases in the upcoming weeks.
