If you were politically active in the early 2000s, you remember when Ron Paul was the only Republican to consistently oppose the Bush agenda.

He was blasted by almost everyone on the right as a traitor to the GOP who was "helping the Democrats."

We now acknowledge that Dr. Paul was right. But if more of us had stood with him back then, he might have won out, and we wouldn't have all the war deaths, losses of freedom and privacy, and tens of trillions of dollars in debt he was trying to prevent.

Hindsight's 20/20, right?

Well, here's your chance to learn from that.

Stand with @RepThomasMassie now, when it actually matters. Demand that the rest of the GOP, including Trump, actually follow through on their promise to cut the size, scope, power and cost of government.

This is a reaction to a post, sort of a random choice, from Jay Anderson, below. First, about Jay:

✅ Generic name, no clear background or history before that
✅ Millennial
✅ Calls self "OSINT Researcher & Public Speaker"
✅ Makes claims about the FBI and Epstein (etc.) often without any clear evidence (see below)

I looked online; I asked two LLMs; there is nothing generally available to suggest what the heck Jay Anderson, if that is his real name, is talking about.

I say, **enough** with this idiotic practice of causing noise by making unsourced claims.

Start asking for evidence. Nay, DEMAND evidence.

I’ll vote against a clean CR that funds everything in 2025 at 2024 levels because:

1. @SpeakerJohnson isn’t following the provision in law that would have cut everything by 1% if the CR extended past April.

2. We should not fund the waste, fraud, and abuse that Doge has found.

3. These are supposed to be 12 separate bills.

4. We were told that the CR in December that got us to March would allow us to prioritize Trump’s agenda this March using the checkbook.

Ps @bresreports incorrectly reports I’ll be voting No on the “rule” and refuses to correct his article in spite of being notified of his mistake. What a goof.
