What an amazing evening receiving Tpads Platinum Jubilee Award for Community Service from the Queen’s representative Deputy Lieutenant David Lindley Esq. A proud moment in our history. ❤️🎭
To celebrate the life of the sadly departed legend that was Brian Pepper, the club will be holding a memorial game on the afternoon of Sunday 11th September. The day will also include the scattering of his ashes. We would love to see as many former players taking part

You know the seasons back when you get the excellent @BettyMa53709109 back out with the camera. Some snaps from yesterdays game are now live 📸

5 years ago @ThringstoneMSC were not far from closing down.
It’s amazing to think how far we have come in that time. The ground is looking great, quality football is coming back to Homestead Road, and we’re building a reputation as being at the heart of our community.

The club are looking for a new physio for the upcoming season. If you or someone you know may be interested then please get in touch via our socials. The position would require travel to home and away games with some training sessions attended but would be paid.
We would like to thank the children who have taken it upon them selves to keep letting down the tyres on our bottom sight screen. It’s always a pleasure to spend your first 15 mins at the ground pumping them back up. 1/2
@Stellboy8@rickythegreek@Thringstone2@Inglesfc@BroomleysFC Would you:
A. Guarantee the charity’s future with a guaranteed income, improved facilities (and better football) with an established team,
Or
B. Hope - without any probability that it will happen or income will be generated - that a new Thringstone team will appear?
@Stellboy8@Thringstone2@Inglesfc@BroomleysFC People from Shepshed, Coalville, Quorn, Barrow, Scraptoft and elsewhere got in touch to ask about playing football here.
No one from the village did.
It’s time to move on and get behind a team that wants to make its home in Thringstone. They’ll be here for a long time.
@Stellboy8@Thringstone2@Inglesfc@BroomleysFC It wasn’t like we were beating Thringstone footballers away with a stick. Not a single one of them.
The trustees aren’t footballers just volunteers trying to keep a community resource going.
Plenty of football people got in touch it’s sad that no one from Thringstone did.
@Birchy3841@Stellboy8@Thringstone2@Inglesfc@BroomleysFC We can’t help it if a former club gave the stand a name.
That said, if Tom Huddleston made a big contribution over the years - we don’t know him - we would be happy to consider commemorating him in some way but would need more information.
@Birchy3841@Stellboy8@Thringstone2@Inglesfc@BroomleysFC We think that before it disbanded TMWFC may have named the stand a gentleman named Tom Huddleston.
Unfortunately there wasn’t any signage and, more importantly, the name was never confirmed by trustees of the charity that manage the property.
