FNB CUTS FEES FOR MILLIONS
FNB has announced major pricing and rewards changes that will take effect from 1 July 2026, aimed at helping customers manage rising living costs.
The bank will remove EFT fees across key account segments, expand free real-time payments and simplify transaction pricing.
Customers will also benefit from enhanced eBucks rewards, with FNB increasing its rewards budget by 20% to more than R2.7bn.
Additional perks include fuel and electricity rewards, travel discounts, grocery savings and lower account fees.
FNB says the changes are designed to make banking simpler, reduce everyday costs and give individuals and businesses greater financial flexibility.

Today the ANC asked for your forgiveness. Then proceeded to table an unfunded budget, in a city that their own finance minister declared bankrupt.
You be the judge.
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
Looking forward to this year’s Simonsberg Wine Festival.
Double the number of farms from last year, great food and music. Incredible scenery. Tickets https://t.co/wAW4sP7Y46

@TheRochaSays@MelissaReddy_@TheRochaSays 100%! I'd also add Slot's tinkering...benching Ekitike, starting Mo, limiting Chiesa's minutes (he has shown grit all season and has made an impact when playing), moving Szobo to RB & still picking Frimpong and Conor as well, etc. He's not helping this situation.
@brickfromcrick@Osborne80Paul@bensmithrugby You clearly know very little about the social and economic dynamics in SA sports and the impact that (lack of) resources has on talent reaching its potential.
@brickfromcrick@Osborne80Paul@bensmithrugby Disagree. How do you become world beaters if you have inferior facilities, structures, coaching, nutrition, conditioning, etc? By your assertion, England, France should be dominating because of their playing population size and financial muscle. That's not the case.
@brickfromcrick@Osborne80Paul@bensmithrugby I'd argue that Polynesian nations have some of the world's best rugby athletes. Rugby is their #1 sport. Yet countries like Samoa, Fiji, etc can never compete with the more well-resourced nations. Don't dismiss resources like they are inconsequential. They're the great equaliser
@brickfromcrick@Osborne80Paul@bensmithrugby Your earlier contention that rugby is our #1 sport is false. The fact that SA hasn't seen such a golden era despite the playing numbers, should tell you that it's not just about having a big pool of players. Resources matter just as much.
