In celebrating #TamilHeritageMonth in January, @newnormalcomedy recognizes over 200,000+ Tamil settlers who call Canada home. INVITE "sonthakarar" across time zones because our first THM show tonight was deliciously outstanding. Buy tix here:

Half my whatsapp groups are pictures from vaccine appointments, and the other half is people frantically crowdsourcing for oxygen tanks and beds while announcing covid deaths of friends/relatives/neighbours.
Global vaccine apartheid in real time is infuriating and devastating.
Nothing changes the fact that Boseman was one of the most brilliant actors of this era who made a tremendous impact in a short period of time & that he’ll be remembered forever. Awards don’t make or break that.
The concept of "parental alienation" is often misused in custody battles to divert attention away from allegations of child abuse or intimate partner violence, specifically men's violence against women. Why are elected officials uplifting this issue in a misguided manner?
Remember when Italy was in Covid crisis last yr? Celebrities showed solidarity, opera singers around the world paid tributes, we ALL tweeted images from Rome?
Never read ONE discriminatory comment about Italians.
One yr later, India. Race dictates response.
Do better, ppl.
@Joyhenderson78 I am feeling the exact same way!!! It’s disgusting. The tents outside in the rain in Thorncliffe the weekend before, everyone in the snow in Jane / Finch this week. Who gets to book shop around online and who is forced to wait outside to maybe get a vaccine.
As an Agency ICU/ER Nurse, I've worked in 17 different hospitals in Ontario. My job requires me to fill in for staff shortages wherever there's need.
I've seen the hospitals that are the hardest hit by this pandemic. When I say racism is at the core of the 3rd wave, I MEAN IT.
Can't help but sigh and smh at the collective outrage now about @fordnation when we've been screaming about this for years. "It is when you hurt your shoulders you know that everything is connected". Wise words from a colleague of mine W. Yomi-Odedeyi.
