Made a short video on the Single Asset Vault (XLS-65) on the XRP Ledger.
Before you can borrow on-chain, the money has to come from somewhere. The vault is that shared pool. You deposit, you get shares back, and those shares are your slice of it. If the pool earns, your shares can be worth more when you redeem.
First in a series on on-chain lending.
@thetimetraveler Bitcoin has more clarity than any other cryptocurrency. It is the only one officially deemed a commodity by the CFTC and case law.

I want to point out another real problem the XRPL community and devs keep running into:
Most serious discussions, new features, amendments, technical proposals, and design questions happen almost entirely on X/Twitter. It works for quick visibility, but after a few days, everything disappears. Threads get buried and are almost impossible to find later
- The search is unreliable
- Anyone who wasn’t online at the exact moment misses the entire conversation
- The actual arguments, pros/cons and useful feedback are gone
- New developers and community members have no way to catch up on the history
We have one of the most open and transparent ledgers out there, yet we’re throwing away that advantage by keeping the important conversations on a platform that wasn’t built for long-term, structured discussion.
and
Let’s move the meaningful, long-term discussions to the two official GitHub spaces where they actually belong and where the maintainers and validators already look:
For server questions, technical topics, early ideas, feedback on existing code:
For real proposals, amendment ideas, new XLS standards, basically anything that will change the protocol:
Why these two places?
- Everything stays permanently public and searchable
- You can link, quote and reference it months or years later
- It’s the official process before anything becomes a Draft XLS or gets implemented
Future contributors can actually find and build on what was discussed, while Twitter can still be used for:
quick announcements, memes, banter and "short" questions (just add the GitHub link). But when it’s something that matters for the ledger long-term, start or continue the discussion on GitHub.
If you have an idea, just post a short note on X and immediately link to the new GitHub Discussion. Takes two minutes, keeps everything findable. This isn’t about stopping anyone from using X, it’s about not losing the actual conversation history.
Let’s start having discussions where they actually stay useful.
XRPL Wallets Comparison!
There is a big debate lately about XRPL wallets, security, fees, so I created this table. I will say this: Competition is healthy, monetization is normal and important. In the end of the day, it's all about the community and users. As long as it aligns with most users and we help everyone improve through constructive feedback, it's a win-win. But hate and division will not help anyone. There are many different solutions out there and it's up to users to choose.
We created Anodos Wallet because we wanted to have our own embedded solution as a default that is usable by the everyday person who has no idea about crypto. We wanted to bring the web2 experience in the XRPL ecosystem. Each wallet has its strenghts and weaknesses. Xaman remains the most secure and feature-complete wallet, but of course it's not for everyone and many don't like the fee structure. You have alternatives. Debates are good as long as they are productive.
@WietseWind@doppler_fi@XamanWallet First of many, I hope :).
Thank you!
Is it possible to add the Doppler history when entering the safe? I can see the total value and the points, but I couldn't see the history.
Permissioned Domains are going live on the XRP Ledger today.
This is one of the most important infrastructure upgrades XRPL has seen in years.
Permissioned Domains allow regulated institutions to create compliant zones on the XRPL environments where only verified participants can interact, trade, or provide liquidity.
In simple terms:
It lets banks and financial institutions use XRPL in a way that actually fits real-world compliance rules (KYC, AML, counterparty risk, sanctioned entities, etc).
Why this matters:
Until now, institutions preferred to keep most activity off-chain because they couldn’t control who they were interacting with.
With Permissioned Domains:
• Access can be restricted to approved entities
• Liquidity providers can be known and verified
• Payments, trading and future lending can happen on-chain in a compliant way
This unlocks real institutional usage of XRPL not just experimentation.
It also enables Ripple to properly utilize the XRPL DEX for Ripple Payments, something even Ripple couldn’t do safely before due to unknown liquidity sources.
Next step: Permissioned DEX
Permissioned Domains are the foundation.
Permissioned DEX applies that foundation directly to trading and liquidity.
Together, they allow:
• Regulated on-chain FX and payments
• Institutional liquidity pools
• Tokenised asset markets
• Future lending & borrowing protocols
• Compliant DeFi on XRPL
This is how XRPL transitions from:
“Crypto infrastructure”
to
Financial market infrastructure.
Ripple has over 300 institutional partners.
This is the missing piece that allows those partners to finally operate directly on-chain.
Not hype.
Not speculation.
This is plumbing being installed for the next financial system.
@Vet_X0@krippenreiter hope I’ve got it all right :) - you guys can drop a comment!

@crypto_bitlord7 I don't understand your posts... what's wrong with selling? Actually, it's even good news. Selling billions. To me, it means someone bought them because if there weren't buyers, they wouldn't sell...
Can you explain, from your point of view, why it's bad and why it harms XRP?
In general, love your posts, but this is not accurate. The White House has been super constructive here.
They did ask us to see if we can go figure out a deal with the banks, which we're currently working on.
Actually, we've been cooking up some good ideas on how we can help the community banks specifically in this bill, since that's what this is about.....the community banks, right? More coming soon.
