Héctor Bellerín @HectorBellerin has once again used his voice for Palestine, reminding us football can be a powerful platform to send positive messages.
He also pointed to FIFA’s double standards. Football stood with Ukraine, but failed to do the same for Palestine.
This is really moving !
In Budapest's Heroes Square Hungary's opposition leader @magyarpeterMP calls on the spirit of the 1956 Hungarian uprising against Russia and its thirst for freedom to defeat Orbán in front of hundreds of thousands of Hungarians🇭🇺🇪🇺

See how political entities and governments pay and manipulate your government to bow down the their needs as opposed to listening to the people that democratically elected them.
This whole Maccabi Tel Aviv - Aston Villa issue should be a case study in the manipulative use of allegations of antisemitism.
It turns out the decision to ban Maccabi Tel Aviv fans stemmed from intelligence shared by the European Policing Network to Westmidlands Police regarding the danger posed by Maccabi Tel Aviv fans. It is for this reason that there was a 'high risk' designation because of violent incidents that had occurred elsewhere in Europe perpetrated by Maccabi Tel Aviv fans.
Our Home Secretary was made aware of this ban last week. So, the government has had a whole week to prepare a comprehensive and sensible statement / position regarding the ban. Instead, our political leaders have consciously and deliberately chosen to further a malicious narrative, claiming falsely that this is a case of antisemitism; that Jews in the UK are not safe and cannot be adequately protected if they attend football matches.
All of this is in furtherance of a narrative that pro-Palestine activity is somehow an imminent and serious threat to Jewish communities and the very future of Jewish life in the United Kingdom. This, in turn, is also furthering islamophobic, anti-Arab, and anti-Palestinian racism and dehumanising narratives about Palestinians and their supporters.
What a complete mess this has become all because our government has no spine and seeks to exploit the sense of insecurity and vulnerability of Jews as a convenient scapegoat.

Surreal, Labour's leadership repeatedly said the UK is not selling arms to Israel
But Israel's tax authority shows the value of UK arms sales to Israel
Shame on Labour - thank you #C4News for doing what others dont bother to do
.@ZackPolanski is asked about the Home Secretarys comments that yesterdays protests about Israels actions were dishonourable (she also said they were unBritish).
Zack is spot on.

"Seems like a good day to remind everyone that 'I was just following orders' was rejected as a defense at the Nuremberg trails" -
Pro Palestine Action March September 6th
A piece by the head of Rock En Siene festival in France today.
"And yet the Kneecap concert at Rock en Seine took place without the slightest incident. No tension, no violence. Nothing but artists, music, audience. Proof, if any were needed, that what some elected officials fear is not disorder, but freedom.
In this general context, festivals are attacked because they are places of freedom, mixing, youth, that escape their logic of order. Music is too alive and too hybrid to fit into their identity narrative.
Rock en Seine has chosen not to submit and not to censor its programming. We are proud of it, because culture cannot be bought, it does not submit, it does not negotiate. Because we have remained free.
Defending culture today is not defending an aesthetic, it is defending an idea of society, it is defending democracy.
Culture is what remains for us when everything wavers."
