Proud to share that our Senior Backend Engineer, Ivan Obeso, has been promoted to Founding Engineer at TicketSoft.
Ivan has been a central part of our technical core from the beginning — bringing 15+ years of engineering experience, building our original blockchain-backed prototype last year, and leading the backend architecture that powers the platform today.
This promotion reflects his leadership, impact, and the foundational role he plays in shaping TicketSoft’s future.
Also, some big platform announcements coming soon 🚀
Ivan from our core engineering team represented TicketSoft at @WebSummit Portugal this week, where he caught up with our friends at @Entirl! 🚀
Next year, you’ll find us on the floor with our own kiosk, showcasing live demos of our blockchain ticketing infrastructure amongst other features. 🌐
Exciting times ahead!
🚀 Team Update
After recently sharing the first designs of our live event aggregator, we’re excited to introduce the engineer now bringing that vision to life: Muhammad Khan.
Muhammad is a senior full-stack developer with over 8 years of experience, having delivered products for high-traffic platforms like Blavity. (100M+ monthly users) and the unicorn analytics company Lighthouse.
He’s not just a world-class engineer — he’s also based in Fort Worth, Texas, which is no coincidence. As we prepare for our Q4 launch in Texas, we specifically looked for someone with boots on the ground — someone who understands the local landscape and can help us optimise the platform for real-world event behaviour, regional user flows, and high-value partner integrations.
Muhammad’s already hit the ground running and is leading the full build of our live event aggregator, the crown jewel of our US go-to-market strategy.
More soon as we move toward MVP.

Built to fight, backed to win. 👊
We’re very proud to announce our official sponsorship of rising @PFLMMA star John Mitchell 🇮🇪. As TicketSoft builds the future of ticketing, John’s journey represents everything we stand for: discipline, disruption, and going all the way.
The Ticketing Industry is Broken.
From scalping and fraud to hidden fees and a lack of transparency, these problems have been frustrating fans and organisers for decades.
The recent Oasis fiasco is just the latest example of how broken the system really is with some fans paying over €500 for a €125 ticket! And that was from Ticketmaster themselves…
Blockchain is the only solution that can prevent these problems.
