Fun Fact: Ocean acidification is a chemical process that changes the properties of seawater. Specifically, CO2 from the atmosphere interact with water molecules to create carbonic acid, which then breaks down into hydrogen ions and carbonate ions

A5 Pollution plays a huge role in it but most extinctions of the past have been attributed to ocean acidification and the current extinction is following the same pattern, only this time the acidity of the ocean is increasing much faster. #savesquirtsfriends
