In a new video from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Elder Geritt W. Gong of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles explores “how to hear God’s voice clearly in an age of artificial intelligence (AI), and why that distinction matters more now than ever.”
“Can artificial intelligence replace God?” Elder @GerritWGong asks in the hour-long, gospel workshop video now available on YouTube. “That question may sound provocative, but in an age when we turn to algorithms for answers, guidance and even comfort, it matters deeply.”

Andrew Klavan @andrewklavan today on the Matt Fradd Mormon controversy (shortened):
"I love Matt Fradd. He's not like these hateful people just slinging mud in the name of God. But I have to say I don't agree that he should be doing this.
Mormons aren't blowing people up, leave them alone.
When you take away something that you disagree with in somebody else's faith, you might think you're doing something good, but you might actually be taking the step away from them that's going to lead them to something closer to the truth."
Andrew- I have been a listener since before the Tickety Boo song. After months of daily podcasts it was you who convinced me to vote for Trump in 2016. (After all Ben could do ;)
I considered writing in to the mailbag for advice when I was experiencing a very trying time in my faith and marriage.
To say I respect you is an understatement.
Please take a moment to objectively understand that we are not dumb and we are actually pretty good at taking jokes about us.
Why I am frustrated is that the very place I have spent time and money is now using that capital to promote specific religious views (not moral ones). And more than that to tear down a religion that you yourself know produces God-loving, good, and patriotic people.
It must be much more comfortable making this about jokes than confronting the fact that Matt Fradd is another hiring mistake that is blurring the DW’s mission and purpose.
You are smarter than this.
@prestwich_derek@KelseaJ112@realDailyWire That’s exactly it for me though. They are giving up any credibility they have as a news organization when they decided to become a Catholic Op Ed.
I was skeptical, but now I’m completely convinced. Fencing will become super popular due to this one very particular improvement to the sport.
“Sword tip visualization” It’s going to debut at the summer olympics.
Every single duel will look like a bloody lightsaber fight
@abbythelibb_ Kind of yes, kind of no.
I knew after our last that something clicked and felt “right” when we were sitting together in church. Finally being outnumbered by the kids made us feel like a family more somehow to me.
But if I could have one more I would jump on it without question.
Why has everyone become so extreme?
The response to this post only makes it look MORE necessary, not less.
The church is not wrong to encourage spouses to support each other. If the genders were reversed the people same people angry now would be drooling over that post.
The comments sadly mirror a lot of leftist sentiments. “I’m mad the church didn’t follow my approved script.”
“I grew up in Arizona, served a mission in Mexico, and went to college thinking I had a pretty clear path for my life. Then I met my now wife Victoria, and everything changed in the best way.
“She always knew she wanted to be a doctor. Pediatric neurology isn’t an easy road, but it’s who she is, compassionate, steady, brilliant, and drawn to help kids and families through the hardest things life hands them. When she got into med school in California, we packed up and moved.
“Stepping into her dream together was an easy choice. I wanted to support her the way she has always supported me. And honestly, watching her work and sacrifice and love people like she does has strengthened my faith more than anything else.
“My path hasn’t been as clear. I’ve tried different directions, learned a lot, prayed a lot. Some days I still feel like I’m figuring it out. But I do know that God doesn’t measure timelines. He measures love, humility, and the way we show up for each other.
“Supporting her doesn’t shrink my purpose—it expands it. Our callings from God can look different, and that’s beautiful. I’m building my future too, but I’m grateful that right now, part of my purpose is cheering for the person I love most as she steps into hers.
“There’s not one 'right way' to build a family or a future. For us, this is ours. And it’s sacred.” — Nate
