Chinese Tourist Blacklisted for Life After Damaging Suvarnabhumi Auto Gate

Thai immigration authorities have revoked the visa of a Chinese tourist and imposed a lifetime ban after he damaged an automated passport control gate and verbally abused officers at Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The incident occurred on May 13 at the airport’s outbound immigration area when the man reportedly failed to follow instructions while using an Automated Border Control gate. Authorities said he became angry after the system did not respond, kicking the glass gate twice and forcing his way through the checkpoint without completing immigration clearance.

Immigration officers detained the suspect, who allegedly shouted abuse at officers and attempted to assault them before being restrained by airport security personnel. Police charged him with property damage and insulting officials while they were performing their duties. The damaged immigration gate caused an estimated 450,000 baht in losses.

The Immigration Bureau said the man’s visa had been revoked and his details added to the immigration blacklist as a person deemed a threat to society. He will be deported after legal proceedings conclude and permanently barred from re-entering Thailand.

My take on #Samsung 's 2026 S-series: The base Samsung #s26 is not worth considering. The #s26plus is not either. The #s26ultra is the only one in this year's lineup that provides some improvements but same camera sensor, that is a deal breaker. No thanks.

One month after my disastrous flight with @emirates, missing my connecting flight in Dubai due to the airline’s fault, I read a similar story on Reddit where the airline blamed a passenger for missing their connecting flight. We need to share unacceptable experiences like this.✈️

According to EU regulation EU261/2004, passenger rights for flights from or to the EU are protected. Whenever delays, cancellations, denied boarding, or as in my case with #emirates, missed connections occur, you have a right to compensation. Know your rights. #travelrights
