GM got busted in a massive driver data scandal... and what it’s doing next has people asking what the hell the company is thinking.

The FTC accused GM and OnStar of collecting and selling precise location and driving behavior data from millions of vehicles without adequate notice or consent.

California then secured a $12.75 million settlement over GM’s sale of drivers’ location and driving data.

Now GM has already ditched Apple CarPlay and Android Auto from many of its newer EVs, forcing drivers toward GM’s own software instead.

After getting nailed over what happened with drivers’ data, GM wants MORE of your vehicle experience running through GM.

And people are pissed.
