Grief comes at the most unexpected times, long after the death. It’s been 29 years and a phone call with a stranger has me in tears. Next year I’ll be his age and right now it feels so fresh, like it just happened.

@OhNoSheTwitnt Went to the grand opening of Tractor Supply in town. Shelter was there. My Spike had only been gone 6 months. Fell in ♥️ with this one from across the lot. Best kitty litter I ever bought! 7 years ago, wouldn’t trade him for anything.
