@Polymarket Weighted Volume (wV) Explained in Simple Words 👇

1. Weighted Volume is not normal trading volume. It is a special score that Polymarket gives only to takers. This score decides your trading tier and how much fee rebate you get every month.

2. Simple formula:
wV = Trade Size × (1 - Entry Price) × Category Weight

Trade Size = shares × price you paid
(1 - Entry Price) = how much upside is left
Category Weight = depends on market type

3. Real example from yesterday:
I bought 3000 shares at 99.4 cents in a Sports market.
Trade size = almost $2982
Upside left = only 0.006
wV I got = almost zero (15$-20$)😅

4. Why does this happen?
When you buy at very high price like 99 cents, there is almost no upside left. So you get very little weighted volume. That's why big trades at high prices often give you zero wV.

5. Pro tips:
- Buy lower priced outcomes (10-50 cents) to get much higher wV
- Crypto markets give highest weight
- Politics is good
- Sports is normal
- Geopolitics gives zero wV

Higher wV every 30 days = higher tier = higher rebate on fees. And one time bonus reward.
