@redeemed_zoomer don’t get it twisted, i love you but the way you’re going engaging like this is ridiculous. You’re probably sick of the “trad-caths” online but you’re sinking down to their level.
@redeemed_zoomer I don’t get it RZ, you said you would stop ragebaiting a few months ago but you’ve only kept going. (Also this is completely untrue catholics are free to disagree with clergy on nondoctrinal views or politics). You seem to be becoming less charitable by the day.
@Zelleon818@InspiringPhilos we can say allaha, i have no problem saying allaha. Coptic Christians or Melkites say Allah in their liturgies but for the rest of us who don’t have that litergical language we use the term “God” and “Father.” As A christian i could say abba or allaha but as a muslim you cannot.
@MaxMBJ@CalvinKlinean@LandOfTheLocke@Protestia no it’s not murder because that’s a different sort of circumstance. Through the lens of Christianity the life of a person (with a rational soul) begins at conception. Murder is the the direct, intentional, and unjust killing of an innocent human being.
@athiestboi@theutahcatholic No, the argument is that without God there is no objective sense of morality. Therefore we aren’t saying you need to believe in God in order to have morality. But that you are a moral being because God has given it to you rather you believe in him or not.
@BestShvili@Acts17David Show your priest what you have been posting and reposting on X. He certainly would not be happy with it and would likely tell you to not take the Eucharist until you repent and confess.
@redeemed_zoomer I'm quite disappointed, I thought you said you would stop making these kinds of takes and ragebaiting. There’s no point to saying this, it’s just like you’re fishing for hate attention. Repent, you should delete X if you really want to change, that’ll be more profitable.
@redeemed_zoomer i did notice this about you, but we all fall for it. We complain about rage baiting but then we fall into and participate in it. I’m glad you decided to do this, it will make you more Christ-like. Let us learn from this
@AkiyamaShinicci@HilburnCli53222@InspiringPhilos also don’t throw stones when you live in a glass house; where the kaaba and the rituals you do for it for Hajj are literal pagan polytheism with no evidence of it going to any abrahamic religon.
@AkiyamaShinicci@HilburnCli53222@InspiringPhilos gotcha so your reply is just “nuh-uh” without actually refuting my point that Emporer Aurelian put Sol Invictus on that day to compete… that’s very twitter of you
@AkiyamaShinicci@HilburnCli53222@InspiringPhilos ^and when i say celebrate i'm talking more informal and just recognizing the date. This idea of symmetry between the date of his birth and death was very important to early christians. Also roman pagans had festivals year round, it’s hard not to find a dry period.
@AkiyamaShinicci@HilburnCli53222@InspiringPhilos Nope, early christians celebrated Christmas on December 25th before Emporer Aurelian put Sol Invictus on that date in 274AD to compete. Early Christians believed Christ was conceived on the same date that he died, simply count back 9 months from good friday, you get christmas.
@Fedaikyn21@pixie30333@ldiotsOnCamera No, monsters are made from bad parenting and neglectful parenting. Obviously they aren’t neglected since they got this tortuous punishment. Gentle parenting teaches boys how to become gentlemanly, hold doors open for people, and a good amount of course correction.
