@emilio__oilime I live in the city with the highest food prices in the US and it doesn’t take me nearly $75 to make 5 burritos. Yall just don’t know how to grocery shop
@fountinsofwayne Not surprised the average European brain can’t understand getting invited to a potluck or doing something nice for your family and friends
@WhiteBabyBoom@Zoya_ki_batein@bellaislovely_ This is just false. My cousin has Down syndrome so sever he’s in a wheelchair and has to wear a helmet because of his 12+ daily seizures. He is in pain and unhappy. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
@autopsy_cho@chantalAkerstan No dude, the book is written from the perspective of teenage boy. Why are so many of yall having trouble understanding that a character ≠ the authors beliefs. The *book* isn’t treating mentally ill people as subhuman, the *character* is somewhat misogynistic.
@shiro00dango Why would they treat the behavior of a bulimic person making herself puke respectfully? That’d just normalize it. The first step to treating these issues is making it clear they’re NOT NORMAL BEHAVIORS so people (especially kids) with them know to get help.
@frightfuImikael@Power_Expo This is an amazing example of how media literacy is dead. An imperfect character thinking inappropriate stuff is a very normal thing to have in a book
@CastleDavi62635@MariCha34168417@moonshaked@novameowa We all agree America is bad. No leftists here are patriotic. You just don’t see how constantly we talk about this stuff bc you’re just here to argue. You have no actual desire to learn about American politics or poeple, you just want someone to scapegoat your own horrible history
