How to become a great architect? Build. In the words of Nike "Just do it" in the words of Aristotle “We become builders by building, and lyre-players by playing the lyre; so too we become just by doing just acts... men will be good or bad builders as a result of building well or badly.”
Aristotle emphasizes that excellence is not innate — it is cultivated through repeated, intentional practice. Theory and ideas are essential, but real skill, judgment, and even character as a designer emerge from doing the work: sketching, iterating models, critiquing designs, managing projects, and learning from failures and successes.
The important thing is the act. Too often expectations are "instant expert" doesn't exist. Practice makes us better at anything.
Aristotle reminds us that you don’t become a great architect by thinking about architecture. You become one by building — consistently, reflectively, and with the intention to improve.
Get out there, think, meet/ greet, take on new clients and new challenges. That's what I did when I lived in New York and I benefited greatly because of it.. I started my Architecture Firm there, I became a Professor there and met many people and developed endless ideas and experience.

🐶 Hero Border Collie Tsunami saves nearly 100 lives after Venezuela earthquake
The 9-year-old rescue dog discovered dozens of survivors trapped under the rubble.
This will be his final mission — after this, Tsunami is retiring.
Once saved from starvation himself, he became one of the best search-and-rescue dogs, working at disaster sites in Venezuela, Turkey, and Syria.
Absolute legend. ❤️
@AncientHistorry Amazing.
Concrete was invented because of a similar problem. Romans wanted to build where there was no stone. So they invented a replacement = Concrete.
The path in life is made by walking, as well as a lot of problems solved.
Traveler, your footprints
are the only road, nothing else.
Traveler, there is no road;
you make your own path as you walk.
As you walk, you make your own road,
and when you look back you see the path you will never travel again
The word "cathedral" comes from the Greek word cathedra, which means "seat" or "chair. Bernini took the original Chair St Peter used, (yes Jesus buddy Peter, Peter) and enshroud the relic with this. History becomes real when you visit places like this.
Every 29 June, within St Peter’s Basilica, one of the most striking Catholic traditions returns.
The vesting of the statue of Saint Peter, including the cope and the tiara.
@FrankBr05713205 3 drawers will get you started. Screw drivers in one. Wrenches in one and sockets in another. Then add to the tools as you go and as needed. Buying all at once is like forget it. I’ve restored 5 Porsches doing this as a hobby.
@Aesthetic_City Isabella funded Christopher. He found new land and gold. Gold brought wealth back to Isabella she hired Bramante to mark an overlooked spot and he was chosen for the New Saint Peters. That’s how things work.
