@campushookup@chris_awk I hope so! But the non-conference will not help our cause at all, there is nothing LOL-able about calling it weak.
at UF #42 RPI (L)
at UGa #86 (W)
vs Rice #124 (T)
Stetson, FAU, FIU all 180 or worse.
@schadjoe Playing in an easily-accessible city in a neighboring country, they will likely still have a strong home crowd edge.
Sites are picked way beforehand, they couldn't set the bracket up where the path for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in Group B would all play their knockout game(s) in CA.
@chris_awk Brutal. And that 2/3 seed diff is the most impactful of any seed cutoff, as far as potential home games go.
Maybe they put some weight in Duke finishing a spot ahead in ACC (though Duke had a slightly easier ACC sched, no Stanford)
@fifthquarterfsu I mean, they lost coin flip games to two top teams, one on the road. And last night only because of one of the most blatant holding non-calls youโll ever see. I have no problem with their rank, barely in the top 25.
@FSUGolf Great season! Special shout out to Gazzoli for playing great today against two opponents rated much higher than her, both top 15 amateurs in the world -- tie in the AM (match not finished), and a win in the PM. And hardly any TV coverage. Go Noles!
@brimetimenole@Alexlodise@FSUBaseball I'm a researcher with a sports statistics company (and a Nole). Can confirm no player in MLB history has hit a walkoff grand slam to complete a cycle (or had a walkoff GS and a cycle in same game).
Arenado and 4 others completed a cycle with a walkoff HR, but no grand slam.
@FSUGolf@SeminoleBooster@FloridaState Players shooting in the 60s in both the second and third rounds:
Bryson DeChambeau
David Puig
Luke Clanton (a)
Just seven rounds under par today. Well done Luke, Go Noles!
@1800tweets@LHFanBattle@bluebloodsbias Simple โ they hopped on the Alabama train and rode it into the top 4. Committee decided they couldnโt leave Bama out, and Texas had to go up with them because of H2H. If Georgia beats Bama, Texas is almost certainly No. 5.
