@cambridge_pt@DrScottMurray@smaart_bugger@drpablocorral CTCA can see soft plaque like in Type 4 and 5 on the diagram. But it is currently not used as a screening test, it’s ordered as a diagnostic test for chest pain (similar to using a stress test)
@jbspadoni Excellent result! I’m really curious how long it will last or if it will reoccur. ISR has been difficult to treat, hopefully DCBs can be an answer
@MPAOSS@ColletCarlos @jeroen_sonck @jcspratt@PCRonline I used a similar technique recently to get a trapped orbital atherectomy burr out of a tight LAD lesion, a Trapliner catheter inflated at the end of the guide catheter worked very well to pull it all out
Rant of the day: Companies that charge a “Convenience Fee” when there is no other way to make the transaction. What do they want me to do, mail them cash? Is that more convenient for anybody? #mildlyinfuriating
#Medtwitter is CME obsolete? I spend hours every week reading journal watch emails, listening to podcasts, case discussions with colleagues, Twitter threads with replies from international experts, none of which I can log as CME hours
