Bryan you know I’m an ND fan and love the University. That said, if we’re going to choose to remain independent, I believe it puts more pressure on us to win. Granted, two close losses by 4 points, but win one of those and we’re not having this discussion. Possibly as bad take, but winning solves everything. Go Irish! Keep up the great work!
1:00 PM update: A Winter Storm Watch is up areas along I-90 generally from South Bend to Chicago. Snowfall is trending up by Monday morning due to lake effect. My 4-6” may be too low at this point. No change to game forecast.
No change to my forecast for Navy/ND. Rain chances increase by early evening. Game looks wet and possible snow mixing in late. Temps fall from mid 40s in the afternoon to upper 30s by end of game. 1-3” by Sunday AM. Travel an issue after midnight on I-80/90. @MikeGoolsby41
Lake effect snow machine kicks in during the day on Sunday. 4-6” possible by Monday morning. Travel to the east and south deteriorates early Sunday morning and continues during the day.
@MikeGoolsby41 I think 4” would be on the high side for South Bend. Those traveling west after the game; beyond Chicago, keep an eye on the weather. Roads could be an issue after midnight, with colder air, snow and wind. I’ll give an update Saturday late morning and tag Goolsby too.
@MikeGoolsby41 Forecast meteogram for South Bend shows rain chances backing off slightly towards kickoff and then increasing again through the late first half continuing thru the overnight. Radar shows a break in rainfall - for now.
@MikeGoolsby41@DanielSkin20090 I’ve been saying this since the 90s. Afternoon games on NBC are a struggle. Doesn’t help with our geriatric crowd who won’t stand up and cheer either.
@MikeGoolsby41 What’s more worrisome, the play calling, OL performance or the defense? Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t we play more zone coverage tonight than we did all of last season?
@CathVSConf Congrats to Miami. They won and I won’t take that away at all. I’m perplexed by the offensive play calling. Is it me, or did we play more zone coverage in this game than we did all of last year?
