@Gun_tello@TimPollard2 Who is this ‘they’?
President Putin has specifically rejected any idea of restoration of former Soviet Union numerous times.
Paranoia is spread for the purposes of Western interests..
A localized ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the occupied city of Oleshky that First Lady Melania Trump helped to broker has now gone into effect, officials on both sides said Tuesday. https://t.co/LwSNEj0I3F
"Those red lines don't reflect the world we're in now”
Former minister Chris Ward, who helped draw up Labour’s “red lines” on the EU, says reopening Brexit debates is a "really good thing”.

The people had already decided in 1975 by this logic so 2016 should not have taken place. It’s just plain daft to continue with something doing immense harm & the majority no longer support. It’s insane.
There are already mumurings of discontent among Labour MPs about Andy Burnham's EU referendum pledge today. Jon Trickett tells me: "I am not convinced that we should return to the destructive and divisive culture war debates about Brexit ... the people have already decided".
Former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul has accused Donald Trump of raping her at New York’s Plaza Hotel in November 1993.
Keul alleges Trump grabbed her from behind, ripped off her dress and raped her, leaving bruises all over her body. She described the alleged attack to the House Judiciary Committee as “brutal.”
She also alleges Trump pressured her to stay silent by promising to help her obtain a US visa and gain admission to NYU. She claims Jeffrey Epstein made similar promises and invited her to Mar-a-Lago.
Putin's brother died there. He was one of 400,000 children Germany and Finland starved to death in a single city.
Now the same powers want to eliminate him.
Here he lays flowers for more than a million civilians starved by Germany and Finland (and Italy) and for his own family tragedy.
Madeley: "Do you think welfare spendings out of control?"
Maguire: "I don't think its out of control if you look at the total figure.. its only 10.6% of the economy, which is low by European standards"
Singh: "And over half of the welfare budget is pensions, the state pension"
Rabbi Eliyahu Mali on Palestinians in Gaza :
“The basic rule in a mandatory war, in this case in Gaza, is: ‘You shall not let any soul remain alive.’”
“If you do not kill them, they will kill you.”
“The women are the ones who produce the terrorists.”
“It applies not only to the 14- or 16-year-old boy, or the 20- or 30-year-old man who raises a weapon against you, but also to the future generation. And to those who produce the future generation. There is truly no difference.”
“Today he is an infant; tomorrow he is a fighter.”
“There are no questions here.”
“Today's terrorists were eight-year-old children during the previous operation.”
“You cannot stop halfway. That is why Gaza is different.”
He used the Torah to justify his argument.
Russia's neighbours, a ledger:
Moldova, 1992: Russian troops in Transnistria. Still there.
Georgia, 2008: about 20% occupied. Still occupied.
Ukraine, 2014: Crimea.
Ukraine, 2022: full invasion.
The pattern isn't NATO. It's Moscow.
You can clearly see how this allegedly elite IRGC operative “allegedly loaded the three white vans with metal drums containing petrol, water butts and smart dashcams”
How in the name of sanity has the world arrived at a place where its being ruled by three evil vicious malignant old men who have sinister intentions, harmful intent, and ulterior motives.
Why haven't we progressed?
‼️ Andy Haldane says reopening Britain’s relationship with Europe would create a “huge dust cloud of uncertainty”.
But he’s confusing causing the damage with repairing it.
Brexit created uncertainty bc Britain was dismantling its relationship with its largest market while nobody knew what would replace it.
And then Brexit erected new trade barriers.
The OBR still estimates those barriers will leave UK productivity 4% lower in the long run than if we’d remained.
Removing barriers, restoring market access and giving businesses a clear route back towards European economic integration is not simply repeating 2016 in reverse.
**Brexit created the problem.
🆘 Fixing Brexit is not another Brexit.**
My point still stands. Ukrainian forces on their own are pitted against a mighty force. Clearly struggling to keep Russia out. That’s the whole point of NATO- small countries join up with big countries to make up a defensive force so powerful that countries like Russia dare not attack.
Ukraine can have its own military. Nobody is arguing otherwise. But Russia also has security concerns, and those concerns cannot simply be dismissed because they come from Moscow.
The issue is what happens when Ukraine’s military is increasingly integrated with NATO, an alliance Russia has opposed expanding towards its borders for decades.
So why is Ukraine’s security treated as the only concern worth discussing, while Russia’s is dismissed outright?
