The Scott Pelley story to me is a lesson in how if you work hard enough in your career to get Fuck You Money, the real reward is the day you need to say it, you can
Jimmy Kimmel: We have the right guaranteed by the Constitution to criticize and satirize our leaders. This is a right that I took for granted until last year when the FCC delivered a very unpleasant surprise. But then I watched as millions of people objected because they refuse to allow our freedoms to be bulldozed like the East Wing of the White House. We will not stand by when comedy and journalism are censored and criminalized.
“Dr Reiner dismantled the official narrative by pointing out three distinct anomalies that the White House medical team has desperately tried to minimize.
🚩First is the severe, unexplained bruising on the president’s hands. While the White House communications team scrambled to attribute the deep discoloration to "vigorous handshaking," Dr. Reiner stated flatly that the explanation is ••medically impossible and insulting to basic human observation.
🚩Second is the visible swelling of the ankles. The White House diagnosed the condition as chronic venous insufficiency, but Reiner noted a glaring internal contradiction: 🎇just one year ago, Trump’s official examination disclosed zero edema whatsoever.
“Which would then make it ••acute venous insufficiency,” Reiner explained, “which is an entirely different thing.” Unlike a chronic condition that develops over decades, sudden acute edema acts as an immediate red flag for severe underlying pathologies, including congestive heart failure.✅✅✅🎯🎯( I see these signs as a repeat of my dad who died from CHF)
🚩Third, and perhaps most alarming, is the severe daytime somnolence. Dr. Reiner highlighted a documented pattern of the president repeatedly falling asleep in the Oval Office and the Cabinet Room while advisors are actively speaking to him. More critically, Reiner raised concerns that the commander-in-chief appeared to nod off during the solemn Memorial Day observances at Arlington National Cemetery just yesterday, on Monday.
While expressing confidence that the medical team has conducted sleep tests for apnea, Reiner warned that chronic insomnia in an older patient is a severe clinical illness that accelerates cognitive decline, dementia, and cardiovascular failure…effectively adding three and a half years to a patient's biological age
This was Trump’s fourth medical evaluation of his second term, revealing a frantic pace of examination that breaks completely with historical norms. While modern presidents typically visit Walter Reed once a year, Trump took two unannounced trips in 2025 alone…including an October visit initially cloaked as a routine MRI before later being exposed as a CT scan.
This pattern of defensive, imprecise disclosure is exactly what Reiner has been warning the public about for months, telling the Washington Post that the administration exhibits a calculated and dangerous "lack of candor."
Reiner is now calling for mandatory, independent presidential health disclosures to Congress, noting that we require strict fitness-for-duty certifications for commercial pilots, Secret Service agents, and school bus drivers, yet allow the commander of the world's most powerful military to operate in a total medical vacuum.
The president posted “PERFECT” and the White House promised “excellent overall health.” But the bruising is visible. The ankle swelling is visible. The daytime nodding off is visible. The American public is not required to choose an aggressive Truth Social post over the evidence of their own eyes.
They are entitled to demand that the massive gap between propaganda and reality be explained by someone with medical credentials and zero allegiance to the man on the table.
The chart says one thing.
The body says another”

This is Adam Hoffman. He repeatedly raped a Texas boy — for nearly three years — dozens and dozens of times.
Tomorrow morning, May 25th 2026, he will be released from McLennan County Jail after spending just a few weeks there. He will not be required to register as a sex offender. And very soon he’ll be allowed to practice law again.
A real and dangerous predator — a present threat to Texas children — will be as free as you and me. A slap on his wrist and a spit in the face to his victim.
Why?! How?!
Because that’s the deal he made with Ken Paxton.
Vote accordingly.
I am thrilled that DOJ is indicting Raul Castro. Fidel was such a sleazeball dictator that he made it illegal for the Cuban government to audit him or his family.
SHOULDNT IT BE A BIGGER STORY THAT THE US PRESIDENT AND HIS FAMILY SOLD A NONE EXISTENT PHONE AND IS NOW TELLING EVERYONE THAT PAID FOR IT THAT THERE IS NO PHONE AND NO REFUND 🙄
THE US PRESIDENT IS RUNNING HIS CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION FROM INSIDE THE WHITE HOUSE AND IT IS A HORRIFIC LOOK FOR AMERICA 🤷
JF: every time this administration blames one of their endless failures on the previous administration I think of that Spinal Tap line “the opening act was so bad, the crowd was still booing during our show.”
Reasonable people can disagree, and if you disagree that America would be much much much better off if Hillary and Kamala had been elected, it’s reasonable to agree that you’re a misogynist, a racist, a Nazi, or, more likely, a combination of all three.
CSPAN interviews Triumph the Insult Comic Dog
Triumph: This is such a special day, an annual gathering of the press that celebrates, or in tonight's case, fondly remembers free speech. It's also a night when members of the press sit down for a lavish, multi-course dinner served by some of their former colleagues.
Perhaps to no one’s surprise, Tucker Carlson just gave a full-throated defense of segregated country clubs.
Out of the blue Tucker recently attacked me on his show by recounting a story I told him ~10 years ago. In his telling, my father sued a country club for not admitting him as a member. The actual story: In the ’90s, my father waged a newspaper campaign (not a lawsuit) against local country clubs because they were discriminatory – that is, they did not admit Jews, Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, etc., even as guests.
My brother, who was in preschool at the time, was not invited to a classmate’s birthday party because the club where the party was held did not allow Jews inside. (Yes, even 4-year-old Jews, as guests.)
That’s the fight my dad waged—at significant personal and professional cost at the time—and I’m proud of him for it.
