You’re right, but also giant monster movies are spectacles. They do way better overseas and appeal to more people domestically because Kong and Godzilla are two of the most known IPs. MK2021 only did half the domestic sales as ZvK which id say is pretty damn good for a lesser known IP and during covid. So I mean you’re right, but there’s a nuance between the two that’s not exactly apples and oranges. I don’t know what the other person said because he deleted his post. I think mk2021 did pretty good all things considered

@nuhre_ Anyone with a wallet is absolutely not a target demo. Companies pay good money to have marketing analysts figure out who a target demo is and then they cater to that group in order to make the most possible money. It’s impossible to cater to “anyone with a wallet”

Is there a reason there’s suddenly a hair obsession in a movie that broke so much more important lore than that? It’s weird. Jade’s hair is not an important part of her character or story at any point ever. But Kano missing his face plate for TWO movies which is a key part of his identity isn’t getting people this worked up?
