You’re right, but also giant monster movies are spectacles. They do way better overseas and appeal to more people domestically because Kong and Godzilla are two of the most known IPs. MK2021 only did half the domestic sales as ZvK which id say is pretty damn good for a lesser known IP and during covid. So I mean you’re right, but there’s a nuance between the two that’s not exactly apples and oranges. I don’t know what the other person said because he deleted his post. Jade’s hair is not an important part of her character or story at any point ever. Okay, so I’ve checked out your reply history and you HAVE made comments about jade and Sindel. I assumed you were an incel making incel points because you’re championing a review that is completely incel dogwhistling with this “girlboss” stuff. So I apologize for coming after you like you were an incel with a hidden agenda. But I don’t think kitana is a girl boss by any definition because her story completely earns and the one and only time she accomplishes something. It’s explained she’s well trained her entire life, she has the “clheart of a champion” trope where she can defeat the big bad by just having a bigger heart, and her story runs completely parallel to Johnny Cage’s story but no one is complaining he’s being a “man boss” or whatever. I don’t seen any reason this movie, which is its own thing, has to follow the games lore completely. They fixed all the lore breaking things they did in mk2021 with the tattoos and arcana, I don’t feel like kitana winning falls into that same category at all.
