@cricketwyvern Unfortunately you can hear the heels “digging in”in his tone. The WRU have pressured him also and he’s again doubling down. I suspect in a couple of months you’ll get “it was better to be safe than sorry”.
@4soundandfury @Doctor_Hutch This joke has though to be fair.😂 I don’t think our Antipodean friend would mind his name being used for laughs, he was a pretty cool dude.
@howbeef @milesaffixxius@cricketwyvern Never really understood evolutionary pressure/survival of the fittest Darwinian stuff. Everything we’ve previously been still exists today so why did we need to evolve? Surely random chance is a better narrative.
@please_before@Herring1967 I think it is possible to get past moderate racism through debate and not mud slinging. Far right racism we'll have to wait generations to fix.
@please_before@Herring1967 Read my tweet again fella. The if not........ bit in particular. I don't think you help cure racism by calling people racists. I'm trying to get both sides of the coin to see the nuance. I used Josh as a "standard" to measure the criticism of Nish against.
@Herring1967@please_before "People might not like them, but they don't feel the need to say." Is the crux of it. Mild racism at it's finest. How to combat it however.....
@Herring1967 @Nabend1401 Then I think it can be agreed that race is a factor when "moderate racists" don't like a comedian, footballer, dancer etc and pile in on them. I think when we realise there's a sliding scale of racism then we can begin to tackle it.
@please_before@Herring1967 Once, the same as Nish. I've never seen Josh defended by other comic's mind. I suspect that subconscious racism is at play here, although that doesn't defend the "nails down a blackboard " level of comedy from either of them.
@Tompid What were you discussing with Alaphilippe with about 30 kms to go @Tompid !?! A cracking couple of weeks you've had, looking forward to seeing which routes you take in your road career. 💪💪
@BostonBowlerHat@brentbookwalter@cpacycling@UCI_cycling This is the crux of it. The onus shouldn't be on race doctors or training for staff but any human being on scene that can clearly see this incident (and a few others) is severe enough to pull the rider.
