So here's a story of, by far, the weirdest bug I've encountered in my CS career.
Along with @maciejwolczyk we've been training a neural network that learns how to play NetHack, an old roguelike game, that looks like in the screenshot. Recenlty, something unexpected happened.
@ItsKikoKuso@TheWapplehouse That's a premix canister and they have them in Canada (and likely the US) too. When doing large quantities, though, it's cheaper to use tap water, CO2, and syrup and have the fountain combine things.
I owe a lot to the game, Rogue (1980, by Michael Toy & Glenn Wichman). And so do most other game developers. It inspired my Kroz games that launched Apogee. And the whole category of Rogue-like games. Here's my sacred copy.
