Some personal news 🐶

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@kwuchu 👀👀👀 spill the tea

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

the worst pattern in modern web app design is insisting on emailing a code after login. always makes me regret bothering 🤬

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@krispuckett I should show you the agent linear I made internally lolol

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@kerem nice to see ya on here!!! :)

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

homeview was an insta-buy over here:
- well designed + slick wall mount
- giant family calendar
- shopping list
- photos
- recipes
- doesn’t show me ads

[Kerem @kerem]

ok since everyone's dunking on homeview, serious q: what would a screen on ur wall (or kitchen counter) have to do daily to earn the spot? i have thoughts.

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@luisrudge i mean, what apple hardware shows display ads? the app store? cmon

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@kerem i agree with the size being odd, i was a bit surprised. but wasn't enough to make it a no-buy for us. we have an Echo Show 15" frame thing we already use for photos but do not like Alexa so yes to the photos! I'm getting the hardwired wall mount model

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@Shpigford @CleanShot If ya use Herdr (great for multiple agents too) it handles this entirely for you so you can just paste

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@panzer That’s where I got to too ha, worst case gonna return it. I’m more hyped for the POE mount

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@timelessco ❤️

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@blakefosterr @panzer Interested to know what other options might look like that can hold the weight of the thing 🫣

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@panzer Ya i have something similar, i think the weight is an issue as the Schneider website says its held up by strong magnets… i am thinking ill just replace the whole wall box, super simple

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@BenThePCGuy @manan Remind me in a year when Samsung slathers in the ads (mine has volume slider ads now lol), and the apps run dog slow bc they don’t update them

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@joshpuckett there's so much good stuff in here already 🤩

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

blown away by @joshpuckett's GraphicalUI. Makes putting together a design system really fun, but most impressively it was able to apply it to my soup of components and tidy them all up. absolutely worth the buy! https://t.co/9lGHyG4TqM

[Owen Williams ⚡ @ow]

@Shpigford gonna need to get right on that at your scale lol

[Ben Springwater @benspringwater]

I'm delighted to introduce Sundrop – a private photo app for parents. https://t.co/8c8dQTjJVb ☀️

Sundrop finds your best photos and turns them into delightful keepsakes.

See your kids side-by-side at the same age. Watch timelapses of them growing up. Relive your family's week. And lots more.

Everything happens on your iPhone; your photos never touch our servers. (We wouldn't trust a company with our photo libraries, either.)

Sundrop has brought a lot of joy to our own families. We hope it does the same for yours!

@benspringwater Omg so rad
