The report notes a dip in 2020–2021 due to the COVID-19 travel ban, with spending surging post-pandemic partly due to federal relief funds and lax oversight.

Well, he does have to earn it and deliver on a slew of metrics. We should do the same with congressional pay. You start at 0 and only get paid for reducing the debt, stop government overreach, and actually helping people. We all know you are wholly incapable of understanding that.
