It's Wednesday. That means @realDonaldTrump is lying, again.
1. Congress has not approved the USMCA trade deal.
2. There is no provision in the USMCA that says Mexico pays for the Wall.
3. The Wall has not been built. That's why we are in a #TrumpShutdown.
#WednesdayWisdom
.@realDonaldTrump has given Democrats a great opportunity to show how we will govern responsibly & quickly pass our plan to end the irresponsible #TrumpShutdown – just the first sign of things to come in our new Democratic Majority committed to working #ForThePeople.
@realDonaldTrump That’s not how trade deals work. USG doesn’t own businesses trading with Mexico, therefore, it’s not recouping expenses for your Maginot Line from trade.
Not hard to see why you ran a casino into the ground...
When you care for others, you manifest an inner strength despite any difficulties you face. Your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. Reaching beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain confidence, courage and a greater sense of calm.
Susan Collins almost dropped her handbag as she gestured disbelief at word, delivered to her by reporters, that Trump would not sign the continuing resolution unless border wall money was added.
“Did he just say that? Ugh, are you ruining my life,” she asked?

Who else can lose Mattis, order troops out of Syria and Afghanistan, instigate a government shutdown, foment a stock market swoon and share a video of himself dressed in overalls singing “Green Acres” to promote a farm bill – all in the same day? https://t.co/eSdRV0yXfE
Negative thoughts and emotions undermine the very causes of peace and happiness. In fact, when we think properly, it is totally illogical to seek happiness if we do nothing to restrain angry, spiteful, and malicious thoughts and emotions.
Thank you General Mattis for your service to the country and for keeping us safe during these difficult times. I hope you leaving is a signal that Individual 1's days are numbered.
"Hold the Line." 🇺🇸
Until a few days ago Mattis was telling friends he felt an obligation to stay and do his best. His resignation suggests not merely that he thinks Syria was a bad decision, but that he now thinks Trump can’t be talked out of further bad decisions—on Afghanistan, and others too.
I guess he didn’t get the word about Mueller knowing everything. Too bad.
Hey, you know what they say: 🎵 O! You better watch out!
