We love this pic of our volunteers enjoying a well earned cuppa break! They help our projects run smoothly & we'd be lost without them. They definitely deserve all the best biscuits too. Cheers ladies! @HeyVolunteering@Hullccnews@HeritageFundUK

Our Time Ball volunteers had a wonderful tour of the @HullMinster Carillon, Belfry, Clock Chamber and roof this morning, further enhancing their expert knowledge! Thanks to @HeritageFundUK and @Hullccnews for funding the project and making this possible!
We are so proud to be a part of the @HullMaritime collection. Fantastic footage of a momentous occasion. Well done to our colleagues for completing the move earlier this week!
The move ensures final preparations for the visitor attraction can continue before opening this spring.
Our next vessel move will be the Arctic Corsair from Dunston's Ship Repairs on William Wright Dock to North End Shipyard, River Hull later this year. Follow us on for updates.
We had a fantastic trip to Merseyside Maritime Museum on Tuesday with Time Ball & @HullMaritime white badge volunteers. Thanks to all who came! A long but very informative day, which helped us develop skills for our own exhibition tours. @HeritageFundUK@Hullccnews@acklams
The Hull time ball has come back to life after a major restoration project.
It's the first time the ball has dropped above Hull's Guildhall in 100 years.

Hull’s Time Ball on the Guildhall was raised at 12.57pm each day, a signal was then sent from the Royal Observatory, Greenwich at precisely 1pm. It would then drop, and all the sailors in the docks could accurately set their chronometers. @HullMaritime@VisitHull
