@TXWorkforce "championing employment for people with disabilities" How ironic. The full story will be out soon about how the TWC treats it's own staff with disabilities.
@TPPF In some areas it has gone up far far more. People are losing their homes because of it. If I understand it correctly does Texas have some control over what they can charge?
@TXWorkforce ... and will also enter false work hours in order to come up with an illegal termination effort for those filing an EEO complaint. Corruption at its very worst.
@TXWorkforce What a state review found inside TWC IT shop:
❌ No agencywide IT strategy
❌ Systems deployed "before they are fully functional"
❌ "Unreliable data"
❌ Fraud unit cut out of contracts
❌ $40M for 1 of 3 promised modules
It "compromises" services to Texans. #txlege

@TXWorkforce's Sunset review: IT leadership drafts contracts with NO expert sign-off, keeps statements of work "deliberately vague," and "entirely omitted" its OWN fraud-detection division from procurement. What does this look like? @TexasTribune@statesman@KXAN_News#txlege
A Sunset report is out for the Texas Workforce Commission @TXWorkforce and it is damning for the IT division. I can speak directly to many of these issues. @GregAbbott_TX@PatrickJCurry1@TPPF
"compromise the effective delivery of workforce and child care services to Texans."
@GovAbbottPress Would one of those agencies be the Texas Workforce Commission with problematic IT department contracts, hiring practices and EEO issues? @TXWorkforce
