The dealership model is not good (to put it lightly). So it’s up to us to either avoid them at all costs, or be educated on the buying process enough not to get swindled. Get to know the long form (sales contract) it will tell you everything you need to know. Oh yeah, and decline EVERYTHING the sales manager offers you. You can add an extension on your warranty and any point.
@synblinkerfluid There’s no question cars are safer. For me there’s a sweet spot in the early to mid 2000s where safety is strong (airbags, abs,etc), but the cars are still low tech and easy to work on.
