I just got back from DC.

I arrived 13 minutes into President Trump's speech on election fraud. Over the next few days, it was all I talked about in closed-door meetings.

What sticks with me more than anything else: "It's too late to talk about the math."

NO IT ISN'T.

Here's the trick: when people say "math," they mean "anything with numbers." Which is to say, not math at all. What I actually show people isn't arithmetic — it's logic. Patterns that shouldn't exist if the numbers were real. You don't need algebra to see it. You need someone willing to look.

And that's the actual crime here. Not just that someone commits fraud using a technology they know most people won't examine. It's that the people responsible for catching it also refuse to look — because it's "too complicated."

That's not caution. That's a choice to starve rather than reach for the bread on the counter.

A system no one will examine is a system no one consented to. And a republic can't run on consent that was never informed.

While @GovSherrillNJ downplays the fact that thousands of ineligible voter registrations resulted from an @NJ_MVC software error, this failure deserves action and accountability, not political spin. The MVC requires you to verify your identity to get a driver’s license bec/ identity matters. Voting is a constitutional right, but protecting that right means ensuring every ballot is cast by a legal voter. Strong identity verification isn’t voter suppression, it’s election integrity. We shouldn’t have to choose between making it easy for eligible citizens to vote and making it hard for non-citizens to get on the voter rolls. We can do both.
